French Riviera Shopping

While relaxing on a villa for rent in Cap Ferrat you certianly think about going shopping. We have prepared a shopping guide that highlights the main places we suggest visiting.

Monaco

There is little doubt that Monaco is the mecca of high-end retail. Within walking distance of Monte-world-famous Carlo’s casino, the brand-new “One” district opened its doors to the public in March 2019. Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and many more high-end fashion labels have moved into the space once occupied by a movie theater. You may also discover up-and-coming modern labels that aren’t quite ready for their own boutique at MC Market, which is located in the Larvotto neighborhood and comes highly recommended.

Cannes

Famous haute-couture boutiques like Chanel, Dior, and Yves-Saint-Laurent, high-end ready-to-wear labels like Armani and Céline, high-end jewelry stores like Cartier, Chopard, Ferret, and Fred, and high-end leather goods labels like Fendi, Gucci, Hermès, Vuitton, Ferragamo, and Lancel line the three kilometers of the famous Croisette. The boutiques here are bigger than in Monaco, so if you do not find something in the famous streets of Monte-Carlo, definitely consider checking out Cannes. Apart from the luxury boutiques you can find mass market stores among the beautiful rue d’Antibes.

St Tropez

The town of Saint Tropez now dominates the retail scene along the French Riviera. Expensive designer boutiques and glittering jewelry stores line the town’s streets.

Individual boutiques sell expensive apparel, traditional Tropezienne shoes, and furniture and antiquities alongside well-known luxury labels. There is a store that sells everything from yachting apparel to perfume to chocolate to cigars. One of the most sought-after items in this picturesque city is, unsurprisingly, works of art, and the town’s numerous winding alleyways are lined with galleries ready to showcase their wares. St. Tropez boasts all the luxury goods and high-end labels one could want, including upscale shops and name-brand stores. You’ll be dressed to the nines for any St. Tropez event, thanks to the KIWI bikinis, swimming suits, and trunks and the Rondini family’s shoe company. Not only will you be well taken care of, but in a city famous for its magnificent local star, Brigitte Bardot, your spoiled pet will also enjoy strutting along the promenade in its diamond-encrusted collar.
